How to write a review that actually helps
Specific beats glowing. What to cover, what to skip, and how to be honest without being harsh.
Use it first, properly
Give the product a fair try in the way it's meant to be used. Note what you expected before you started — the gap between expectation and reality is the most useful thing you can write about.
Be specific
"Great quality" tells a buyer nothing. "The zipper caught twice in the first week, but the fabric hasn't pilled after ten washes" tells them everything. Mention sizes, durations, situations.
Say who it suits
Every product is right for someone. Finish with who you'd recommend it to — and who should skip it. That one line helps more buyers than any star rating.
Stay within the rules
Follow SHEIN's review guidelines, including how to disclose how you got the product. Your lum is the same whatever rating you give, so there's never a reason to inflate it.
